Game servers now working correctly

Liv3d has got our Classics server working as normal. It's IP address has returned to 85.236.100.146:27215, and all plug-ins (AMXX, XP mod, glowing, etc) are all running. Our Customs server is not currently back to normal, but could be very soon.

Thanks very much for your hours of effort there liv3d :)

Edit: Our Customs server is also now back to normal.

Problems signing in

Server plug-ins (XP mod, glowing, etc) not functioning

For some odd reason our server plug-ins have stopped functioning for the past few days. This includes various features such as the XP mod and glowing. This is a direct issue with Metamod itself.

The only odd behaviour we have noticed so far is Metamod (1.19p32) being presented as "mdl_clean.dll", however we have not yet worked out a resolution for this.

Temporary server outage over

Our classics server should now be online and functioning as normal. Please let us know if there are any further problems.

Website changes: more stuff to break!

I've been fiddling with the website again :)

This time you might actually notice the (minor) changes. The main things that have changed is that all layout images are now PNG-32 as opposed to GIF or JPEG, and various elements will have fancy rounded edges if your browser supports it. Mozilla based browsers (i.e. Firefox) and Webkit based browsers (i.e. Chrome and Safari) do, however Internet Explorer (even 8) does not.

There have also been some back-end code changes and security plugs, so once again please let me know if you encounter any problems. At least now you'll (usually) get a clear message to say something wrong has happened rather than the traditional generic PHP error fluff.

Next in line will be to convert the outdated BBCode posting format into a more up-to-date and friendly Wiki format. This is mainly because once you get to know the Wiki format it's marvellous.

Finally, the RSS feed is now working properly.
