Answers

1: Where can I find a list of banned players?
You can find a record of server bans here.

If your ban is not listed it will be because it was made by automated server software. This often occurs when you attempt to evade an existing ban (i.e. switching Steam accounts because it is laughably easy to detect).

2: Why do players get banned?
Players get banned for violating our server rules. You are reminded upon connecting to one of our game servers that continuation to play bounds you to our terms of use.

Warnings are usually issued before a ban is placed depending on the seriousness of the issue.

Administrators are there to maintain a high quality and fair gaming experience for the public. Players attempting to counter that will be removed.

3: How long do bans last?
As long as we feel necessary. More serious offences like intentionally crashing the server, racism, sexism, and nazism will more than likely be permanent.

4: I think my ban is unjust. How do I query it?
If you have been banned from our game servers you need to talk to the person who banned you. This can be found on our bans database.

Once you have found your ban and the administrator who banned you, find them here and contact them privately. You can either email them or send a private message through our message board.

If the administrator who banned you is no longer a member of staff, please take your ban query to a community liaison instead.

Remember not to be arrogant/abusive or your ban may be extended for it.

You are welcome to contact the administrator who banned you privately via IRC, but please do not query it in our public community channel. Instead, join #mpuksc_admins. You can find an easy way to get on IRC here.

Do not make a topic asking why you are banned on our public message board.

5: I have queried my ban and I am still unsatisfied. What should I do?
Administrators are trusted on their decision making. You will not have been banned for nothing.

However, if you feel that the administrator abused their powers banning you, contact the community liaison.

Temporary bans can be queried while they still have time left.

Permanent bans can be queried within the first calender month of it's starting date.

All bans can be queried once and once only!

7: Why can't I query bans that aren't mine?
They are none of your business!

We will only listen to ban queries if they are coming from the person who has been banned. Do not poke your nose in to other people's ban or you may find yourself incurring a penalty.

Do not blag your way into public or private chats causing uproar or protesting a ban unless you have concrete evidence against it.

8: It's been X months/years now. Can you remove my permanent ban?
No.

Please read the definition of permanent. If your query failed you can't query it again with the exception of substantial evidence discovered proving your innocence.

There are plenty of other servers to play on, so stop pestering us.

If your question is not listed or have something to add/modify, please contact the site manager Adam Reece.
